The City of Vidor Police Department responded to the following calls from Oct. 9 – Oct. 15, 2019:

 

Wednesday, Oct. 9

• Suspicious vehicle on East Railroad
• Traffic collision near Wilson and East Railroad
• Animal attack at the 800 block of Lian Street. A person was bitten by a snake. The snake was thrown outside and was reported as unable to locate.
• Suspicious activity at the corner of North Timberlane and Feeder Road. 
• Suspicious vehicle at the 200 block of Mill Street
• Traffic hazard near Farm to Market Roads 1132 and 105. People were reported for screaming and going into traffic. Two citations were issued.

 

Thursday, Oct. 10

• Suspicious person near Orange and Vernon
• Suspicious vehicle at Veteran Park – Claiborne
• Trespassing at the 500 block of West Bolivar Street
• Animal call at the 800 block of South Dewitt Street. A dog was hit by a car.
• Hit and run at the 1100 block of North Main Street
• Traffic collision near Interstate 10 and Main Street
• Assault at the 600 block of Kent Street
• Burglary at the 700 block of Old 90
• Suspicious person at the 500 block of Alamo Street
• Theft near Ball Park and Old 90

 

Friday, Oct. 11

• Suspicious vehicle near Pinecrest and Oakland
• Theft at the 100 block of Peach Street
• Traffic collision near Lamar Street and Main Street
• Suspicious activity at the 500 block of Burt Street
• Disturbance at the 200 block of Weatherford Street
• Suspicious activity at the 100 block of Lexington Drive
• Threat at the 400 block of East Courtland Street
• Suspicious person at the 1100 block of South Main Street

• Disturbance at the 600 block of South Archie Street

• Traffic collision near Farm to Market Road 1132 and State Hwy. 12
• Theft at the 3300 block of State Hwy. 12
• Found property at the 300 block of Sargent Street. A knife was found by a mailbox. It was gone when police arrived.
• Trespassing at the 300 block of West Tram
• Traffic collision at the 400 block of East Bolivar

• Suspicious person at the 900 block of Goliad Street
• Traffic collision near State Hwy. 12 and Farm to Market Road 1132
• Suspicious activity on Heritage Drive
• Suspicious activity near Main and Interstate 10
• Stolen vehicle at the 600 block of West Lindberg Street
• Disturbance at the 700 block of Kent Street
• Traffic collision near Orange Street and Teri
• Disturbance at the 600 block of East Bolivar Street
