HAMSHIRE – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears nailed down the second-place berth out of District 22-4A Tuesday night by going on the road and downing the Hamshire-Fannett Lady Longhorns 17-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-13.

Chelsea Perry powered the Lady Bears (25-9, 9-2) with 23 kills while Zoe Levens and Alyssa Ammons added six apiece.

Brielle Butler put together 36 digs while Leven had 32, Trinity Williams 18 and Payten Smith 16.

Caitlin Woods set up the offense well, claiming a whopping 44 assists. Perry alsdo added two blocked stuffs.

The Lady Bears will close out the regular season Friday at Silsbee before entering the Class 4A Region III playoffs.
