OF’s Helm wins Liberty CC Meet

LIBERTY — The Orangefield Cross Country teams competed at the Liberty Tony Munson Invitational over the weekend.
On the girls’ side of the ledger, Lady Bobcat Maddison Helm took first-place over the 3,200-meter course with a time of 12:20.7.
Helm was followed by teammates Sally Crosby (33rd, 15:44.1, personal record), Kira Merendino (35th, 15:49.6), Gracie Castro (36th, 15:50.0) and Harmony Hall (85th, 20:15.7).
On the boys side, Bobcat Payton Wrinkle was a solid third overall with a time of 17:48.8 over the 5000-K course.
He was followed by teammates Bryce Moore (56th, 21:49.0), Leyton Loft (65th, 22:14.7), David Arzola (69th, 22:25.4, personal record), Tanner Sullivan (78th, 23:29.5) and Dakota Williford (86th, 24:30.5).
