Heavy rain today is weakening, and should be light, if any tonight. Another round of rain is possible Friday, but rain totals should be one inch or less.

It will take a couple days for flood waters to recede across southeast Texas. Some rivers will be cresting tomorrow through the weekend.

This weekend and early next week will be warm with low rain chances. Another rain event is possible towards the end of next week.

Hurricane Humberto and Jerry are spinning in the Atlantic. Three tropical waves in the Atlantic are being monitored for development. None of these systems pose a risk to our region through the next week.
