  • Suspicious person at the 600 block of Kent Street
  • Suspicious vehicle at the 2600 block of Lincoln Street
  • Disturbance at the 1400 block of Orange Street
  • Narcotics at the 1400 block of Orange Street
  • Burglary at the 1500 block of Old 90 East
  • Narcotics at the 1400 block of Orange Street
  • Suspicious activity at the 200 block of Chance Street
  • Trespassing at the 1200 block of North Archie Street
  • Found property near Orange Street and Timberlane 
  • Panhandling near Main Street and Interstate 10

 

Thursday, Aug. 8

  • Stolen vehicle at the Rose City Truck Stop
  • Suspicious vehicle at the 700 block of Strickland Street
  • Reckless, dangerous driver near North Tram and East Tram
  • Disturbance at the 1700 block of South Timberlane Street
  • Weapons offense at the 2100 block of South Main. Gun shots were heard in the area.
  • Deadly conduct near Railroad and North Dewitt. An infant was in the lap of a passenger.
  • Traffic hazard on Shivers Street. A tree was down, blocking the road.
  • Assault at the 1100 block of Orange Street

 

Friday, Aug. 9

  • Burglary at the 700 block of Reynolds Lane
  • Juvenile problem at the 100 block of East Lindberg Street
  • Suspicious vehicle at the 1400 block of Sandy Lane
  • Traffic collision near Goliad and Dogwood
  • Traffic stop at the 200 block of Beach Street. One female was arrested.
  • Animal call at the 5400 block of Hwy. 12. A person reported a very large tortoise crossed the road twice. The owners retrieved the tortoise.
  • Suspicious activity at the 500 block of Alamo Street.  
  • Suspicious person at the 200 block of Moreland Street
  • Suspicious activity at the 100 block of Mill. A dog in the area was barking at the train.

 

Saturday, Aug. 10

  • Reckless, dangerous driver on Interstate 10 westbound. The vehicle had a blown tire.
  • Suspicious person on North Archie Street
  • Animal call at the 1900 block of Dogwood Drive. A dog, which appeared to be abandoned, with no food or water.
  • Animal call at the 1000 block of Abe Lane. 
  • Disturbance at the 200 block of Weatherford Street 
  • Animal call at the 100 block of North Mission
  • Disturbance at the 1000 block of Hill Street
  • Suspicious activity at the 1900 block of East Railroad Ave. Caller reported a car stopped in the roadway and threw something in the neighbor’s yard near the fence line.

 

Sunday, Aug. 11

  • Suspicious activity at the 500 block of Alamo Street
  • Suspicious person near Jackson and Lamar
  • Animal call at the 100 block of North Mission 
  • Traffic stop at the 1600 block of North Tram. One female was arrested.
  • Disturbance at the 3000 block of East Railroad Ave.
  • Disturbance at the 800 block of Lynn Street
  • Threat at the 300 block of Mill Street

 

Monday, Aug. 12

  • Traffic hazard at the 200 block of Orange.
  • Suspicious person near Main and Interstate 10
  • Suspicious person near Dewitt and West Railroad
  • Animal call at the 100 block of Mission
  • Damaged property at the 1000 block of St. Charles Street
  • Criminal mischief at the 3700 block of Hwy. 12
  • Suspicious person at the 1000 block of Orange Street
  • Suspicious person at the 2200 block of North Main. One male arrested for public intoxication.
  • Disturbance at the 200 block of Drucilla Street

 

Tuesday, Aug. 13

  • Animal call at the 500 block of North Dewitt. A cow was in someone’s yard, loose. 
  • Reckless, dangerous driver near Woodlawn and Hwy. 90
  • Traffic collision at the 5300 block of Hwy. 12
  • Suspicious person near Elm and North Archie
