The Orangefield Lady Bobcats hosted the first Volleyball game of the season last night- swept the Lions, handing them 4 losses.

7B had a great start- Abby Slaughter and Lani Bellard each lead the Bobcats in serves, helping seal the win in just 2 games.

8B had a closer battle and took the win in 3 sets. Ava Dyer’s efforts behind the line stood out as well as Kendall Pennington’s defensive efforts.

7A lost the first game but came back to take the next 2 to defeat the Lions for the 3rd time of the night. Hannah Block and Maci Waguespack’s serves took control leading our Lady Bobcats to back to back wins.

8A closed the night defeating the Lions in just 2 games. First game, Kaylea Gravett had 7 straight serves to take a commanding win of 25-9. Second game was no different as our Lady Bobcats stepped up their attack with Greenlea Oldham and Lela Francis getting 5 kills.

Coaches expect great things from these girls- excited for the season!
