HUNTSVILLE — The Orangefield Cross Country team participated in the SHSU Preview Meet at Kate-Barr Ross Park in Huntsville over the weekend.

In the boys 5K run, Payton Wrinkle paced the Bobcats with a 12^th-place finish time of 18:36.4 in a field of 177 runners and 22 teams. He was followed by teammates Dylan Wells (62^nd, 20:48.2), Bryce Moore (113^th, 22:35.8), Tanner Sullivan (114^th, 22:40.3), Leyton Loft (137^th, 24:07.1), Brayden Babin (150^th, 25:17.0) and Braden Trammell (173^rd, 28:43.0).

For the Lady Bobcats Maddison Helm was sixth with a time of 13:26 over a two-mile course that featured 164 runners. Gracie Castron was 86^th with a 16:17; Kira Merendino was 87^th with a 16:20 and Draven Crochet was 111^th with a 17:07.
