The Bridge City Lady Cardinals were impressive in their home opener Tuesday as they defeated the Beaumont Kelly Lady Bulldogs 3-1 in non-district action at Cardinal Gym.

Harlee Tupper notched 13 kills and had two aces for the Lady Cardinals. Taryn Doiron had 11 kills, 13 assists, eight digs and three aces.

Aspen Daniels claimed nine kills while Daelyn Perry had six.

Waverlee Cooper put together 13 assists, six digs and four aces.

Kyndall Harrison had two aces and five digs and Emma Gaspard had five digs while Lauren Richter added two aces.
