PRESS RELEASE — I was in San Antonio for training the last week or so. I feel so smart it’s scary. Thanks to Chief Deputy Cynthia Hall for holding the fort down. Let’s see what’s been going on.

First let me start by asking to remember all the victims and their families from the shootings this past weekend. Officers and first responders did a great job.

Constable Johnson is healing up and doing great from his on-job injuries. He was very lucky he didn’t have more serious injuries. Thanks, Bubba, for being there.

We had several calls this week about uncontrollable kids. Ages from 11 to 16. Guess what, they wouldn’t mind us either. We have to find a way to connect with some of these children. Times have changed.

Dogs are still a big part of our calls. Dogs attacking children, goats and other animals. Please be a responsible pet owner. Feed them, love them, and keep them penned up.

Got to go. Thought for the week: Sometimes the easiest way to solve a problem is to stop participating in the problem. Ya’ll have a good week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
