From staff reports

To suddenly live in an unfamiliar place surrounded by a new family can be unsettling for a child, especially with one just escaping an abusive situation.

With the first day of school just around the corner, a concern for school supplies adds to the stress a child already feels. To ease the strain, CASA is hosting a Back to School Party for children in foster care in Orange, Hardin, Jasper, Newton, Tyler, and Sabine counties.

Consider helping with CASA’s Back to School Party with a cash donation or a donation of any of the items listed below.

Checks need to be made out to CASAsnr or donate online at http://www.casasnr.org/donate.html

Currently, CASA of the Sabine Neches Region is serving 88 children in care and needs your support to help them get ready for the new school year.

Monetary or school supply donations can be dropped off at CASA’s office in Orange at 2120 Gloria Drive, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Monetary donations can also be made online by visiting http://www.casasnr.org/donate.html
