To The Leader

The Vidor Public Library held the Grand Finale for the Summer Reading Program 2019, “A Universe of Stories!” on Wednesday, July 24th. The children that read 20 or more books enjoyed a visit to the Vidor City Pool and had pizza and cookie cake. The Vidor Rotary “Green Bus” handed out books to the children.

Vidor city employees Madena Rose and Gemma Lingad drew names for the winners of the three gift baskets given by the library and various donors.  The Teen Prize Basket winner was Levi Bean, JV Prize Basket winner was Daelyn Carmane, and Preschool Prize Basket winner was Josi Abrego.

Children who completed the program will receive a prize bag at the library. Pick up deadline is Friday, August 9, 2019, during library hours.
