What are you doing to impact Orange, Texas?  Are you being involved in volunteering services? Are you giving back to your community? Are you going to City Council meetings? Are you voting in upcoming elections? What are you doing to make a difference in your city?

If you are complaining about the city not having a hospital, not having fun things to do, not having activities for children to do, not seeing new businesses, not enough houses being built etc., you are actually doing NOTHING.

There is no way the city will grow if its citizens have the mind frames of the “I do not see anything changing in Orange, Texas.”

You must be a part of the solution.

Mayor Larry Spears Jr., the City Council, the School Board, the churches and several organizations in this city are doing excellent things to move this city forward. Are you not tired of complaining? It is time to do things to get involved in a positive movement.

It begins with people not seeing color, not seeing sexuality, not seeing the economic status, not seeing gender IT STARTS WITH SEEING EVERYONE AS EQUALS. We cannot grow and change a city if we do not change the way we think.

Orange, Texas, let us support our mayor, let us support our city officials, let us support our law enforcement, let us support our schools, let us support our churches, let us support our businesses, let us support our volunteer groups, let us support our newspapers, let us support our children, let us SUPPORT EACH OTHER.

Get out of the mindset of, “I do not see anything changing,” to “How can I make difference in my community.”

The City of Orange, Texas is moving forward. Are you moving forward or will you be left behind?
