Market Basket’s Mauriceville store grand opening set

Market Basket announces Wednesday, July 31, 2019, as the date for the Grand Opening of their new Mauriceville Store, located at the corner of Hwy 62 and Hwy 12 in Mauriceville, Texas. The Ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019, and grand opening special sales will be all month long.

This new state-of-the-art Market Basket in Mauriceville has over 30,000 square feet of retail space with many new departments including a new MB Smokehouse featuring their award-winning Certified Cajun regular and smoked boudin and six different smoked sausages. The new Meat Department features a full-service meat counter, with meats prepared and cut fresh daily. A brand-new floral department has fresh cut flowers and beautiful arrangements for any occasion and unbelievable mums for football games. The all-new Bakery/Deli makes bread, cookies, pastries, pies and cakes fresh every day. And you can get our hot homemade takeout meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or relax and enjoy your meal in with us in our new dining area.

When Market Basket celebrates, their customers receive all the gifts. Grand Opening prizes include a 4-Wheeler from Cowboy Power Sports, a Washing Machine/Dryer combo, a Chest Freezer with Blue Bunny Ice Cream, a Rug Dr. Unit, and 28 bags of groceries. There will also be 300 single roses given out for the ladies and weekly prizes include a Lew’s Rod & Reel Combo, Deer Feeder, Mani/Pedi, a Floral Arrangement each month for a year, a Party Tray, a Boudin/Sausage Tray, a half-sheet Birthday Cake, Market Basket gifts cards and a Fruit Tray each month for a year. Skylar Thompson, President of Market Basket Foods, said: “After Hurricane Harvey, we did some quick renovations in order to re-open and provide for the needs of our customers, while we were making plans and designing this new store.”
