Orange Community Players Young People’s Theater Workshop (YPTW) will present two plays this year. 

“We have 33 kids participating in the YPTW this summer,” Diana Hill said. “This program started over 30 years ago and still going strong…help us to keep it going another 30 years!”

Check Please, directed by Jonathan Rand, and 15 Reasons to Not Be in a Play, directed by Alan Haehnel, are scheduled for 7:37 p.m. on Thursday July 18, Friday July 19, Saturday July 20 and at 2:37 p.m. on Sunday July 21 at North Orange Baptist Church located at 4775 16th Street in Orange.

Despite the loss of the theater in downtown Orange, the local theater group strives to continue to bring live theater by local talent to the area. 

The group has been a fine arts staple for 60 plus years in Orange.
