The Orangefield Bobcats baseball team placed four on the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Academic All-State Baseball Team while the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears placed three as the organization honored players across the state for their academic excellence.

For the Bobcats, Johnny Armstrong, Blake Bradley, Augustus Longron and Landen Tomlinson made the Elite Team in Class 3A.

In Class 4A, Bears Jordan Alexander, Max Dileo and Ty Shugart made the prestigious unit.

Also in 3A, East Chambers teammates Lukas Collins, Colby Kahla and Jonathan Koch made the team.

Also in 4A, Silsbee’s Alex Hardy made it and in 6A Beaumont United’s Kole Long and John Wells made it.
