PRESS RELEASE —  Hope everyone had a good weekend. Not too bad around here. Let’s see what’s been going on.

Jasper County, along with several other counties had several ¾ tons, and 4-wheel drive pickups stolen. According to Federal officers, its Mexican cartel taking them to Mexico. Make sure you take your keys out. Lock them up. It wouldn’t hurt to chain them to a large Sycamore tree at night.

Received a call from a man saying his deer camp portable building has been stolen from the Trout Creek area. The portable building is approximately 12 x 16. Any information would be appreciated.

Received a call from a lady who saw some men come out of the old school in Deweyville. Deputy Cathey spotted them and got them stopped. They hadn’t stolen anything yet. We got them identified. If something goes missing, we know where to start looking.

Man had his five-strand bob wire cross fence cut. Deputy White is looking into it and has a suspect. We know who you are mister. We gonna get ya.

Gotta go. Thought for the week: Falling down is an accident, staying down is a choice. Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
