The Orange Economic Development Corporation will conduct a public hearing at 5 p.m.  Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Orange Public Library Auditorium, 220 N. 5th Street, Orange, Texas for the purpose of receiving comments regarding the donation of a 20-acre land tract at Eagle Point from the Kilimanjaro Corporation for a proposed Gisela Houseman Medical Complex for the purpose of economic development.

In a Letter of Intent from The Houseman Company, a condition is the tract of land can only be used for medical and dental healthcare and related facilities including but not limited to hospitals, surgical centers, micro hospitals and/or emergency centers, medical or dental diagnostic clinics, physical therapy, and chiropractic clinics, office suites for professional health care practitioners, mental health providers, psychiatric, and licensed providers, counselors, medical examiners and related health care facilities.

The tract in question will be named the Gisela Houseman Medical Complex.
