PRESS RELEASE — Court this morning so let’s get started.

We had a hit and run fatal pedestrian accident on FM 363.  It happened about 3:00 a.m. on June 5, 2019.  Anyone with any information, please contact us.  Also remember the Medley family in your prayers.

That a boy goes out to Deputy Cargill and Corporal Hopson.  It’s a long story so I will try to make it short.  We received a call from a lady (Hero) about suspicious activity at neighbor’s house.  After lots of investigation and talking, two people in custody on several felony charges.  Stolen property recovered approximately $7,000.00 worth of rod and reels, 9 mm pistol and three golf carts.  More stolen items still missing.  We hope to recover more.  Still investigating.  Thanks goes out to constable Bubba Johnson and officer Davis.  More to come.

We had two alligator calls this week.  A small one in a private pond and a large one in a ladies drive way.

Now that school is out, a quick note to parents – ATV’s, dirt bikes and side by sides have been causing lots of injuries to our kids.  Most have been head injuries.  Please make them slow down and wear a helmet.  Remember they are our future.

Gotta go.  Thought for the week: I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one.  Ya’ll have a great week.  If we can help, just holler.  God Bless.
