The City of Vidor Police Department responded to the following calls from May 29 – June 4, 2019:

 

Wednesday, May 29

  • Suspicious person on Haley Street
  • Traffic stop on Interstate 10. A man was arrested for outstanding warrants.
  • Possible disturbance at the 900 block of Millie Street
  • Criminal mischief at the Vidor Public Library. Two men were drawing on the benches. They wiped it off.
  • Disturbance at the 600 block of Archie Street.
  • Suspicious person at Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy.
  • Trespassing at the 400 block of East Bolivar Street
  • Reckless/dangerous driver near Interstate 10 and State Hwy. 12.
  • Trespassing at the 200 block of Mill Street
  • Burglary near South Main and Orange Street
  • Traffic collision at the 100 block of Main Street
  • Assault at the 100 block of Luther Circle. One male arrested and another transported to a hospital.
  • Suspicious person at Honeysuckle Court Apartments
  • Suspicious vehicle at the 1000 block of Butler Road
  • Suspicious person at the 900 block of Edgewood Street

 

Thursday, May 30

  • Suspicious vehicle at the Holiday Inn Express
  • Theft at the Holiday Inn Express
  • Vehicle fire on Interstate 10 westbound. They had something in the bed of a truck that was on fire and dumped it. The object was located just before Farm to Market Road 1132, still smoking.
  • Animal cruelty at an unspecified location on Butler. A person witnessed a truck with a 4-wheeler in the back attempting to run over two puppies.
  • Disturbance at the 700 block of West Park Street
  • Disturbance at the 500 block of Southdale
  • Traffic collision near Railroad and Claiborne
  • Assault at the 1400 block of Orange Street
  • Suspicious person at the 2300 block of OST
  • Panhandling at Waffle House
  • Disturbance at Hush Puppy Seafood Restaurant
  • Trespassing at On Your Way Too
  • Suspicious activity at an unspecified location on Millie Street
  • Traffic collision near South Main and Alamo

 

Friday, May 31

  • Disturbance at Pirate Cove Apartments
  • Suspicious activity at the 1000 block of Butler Road
  • Theft at the 1200 block of Crestview Street
  • Assault at the 800 block of North Tannahill Street
  • Weapons offense at the 300 block of Oak Lane
  • Traffic collision westbound at Farm to Market Road 1132
  • Suspicious person at the 900 block of South Main Street

 

Saturday, June 1

  • Disturbance at the 400 block of Bolivar Street
  • Suspicious person at the 900 block of South Archie Street
  • Suspicious person at the 100 block of Carla Street
  • Narcotics at the 300 block of Texas Street
  • Animal call at the 400 block of Oak Lane
  • Suspicious person at the 300 block of Moreland Street

 

Sunday, June 2

  • Suspicious person at the 300 block of Melrose Street
  • Disturbance at the 2400 block of Evangeline Drive
  • Suspicious person at the 100 block of North Main
  • Disturbance near Concord and Orange
  • Suspicious person at the 100 block of West Railroad
  • Suspicious person at the 100 block of North Main
  • Reckless/dangerous driver at the 600 block of Park Street
  • Suspicious person near Dewitt and Chinqpin
  • Burglary at the 700 block of Goliad Street
  • Traffic stop at the 500 block of Wilson Street.
  • Suspicious vehicle at the 600 block of Concord Street
  • Theft at the 1700 block of South Timberlane Street
  • Disturbance near Lynwood and Hwy. 90
  • Trespassing at the 1000 block of Orange Street. A male was taken into custody and reported as very intoxicated and highly combative.

 

Monday, June 3

  • Assault at Country Pantry. Victim reported he did not know who the person was that stabbed him in the leg.
  • Animal call at McDonald’s. A large snake was sitting in the drive thru. It was safely relocated.
  • Burglary at the 500 block of Sargent Street
  • Assault at the 400 block of South Archie Street
  • Criminal mischief at the 500 block of South Archie Street
  • Disturbance at the 1200 block of North Archie Street
  • Weapons offense at the 700 block of Park Street
  • Disturbance at the 800 block of West Davis Loop
  • Disturbance at the Citgo – Fast Break. Two men were fighting in the parking lot. One was arrested for an outstanding warrant for trespassing.
  • Suspicious person at the 500 block of Orange Street

 

Tuesday, June 4

  • Theft at the Heart of Texas Family Medicine
  • Traffic stop at PAKCO #1. A female was taken into custody for outstanding warrants out of Beaumont.
  • Suspicious person on Old Hwy. 90
