Cops N Kids Picnic postponed until June 28

Claiborne West Park is sure to be full of activity as Orange County Sheriff’s Office hosts the 24rd annual Cops N Kids Picnic on Friday, June 28.
It was originally scheduled for Friday but due to the weather, was postponed a week.
Along with law enforcement, the event also allows children the opportunity to see vehicles and equipment up close and personal, and many allow a hands-on approach for the children.
Activities such as fun rides, games as well as plenty of refreshments and fresh watermelons will be on hand.
All Orange County children are invited to attend.
Cops N Kids Picnic is from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, June 28 at Claiborne West Park located on Interstate 10 in Vidor.
At some of the booths there will be face painting and arm bracelets.
Area day care centers and church organizations are also invited to attend the event.
