Triangle ERT Training Standbys is open for training

Triangle ERT Training Standbys held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Tuesday afternoon announcing it is open for training.

The company already has training for emergency personnel starting next week.

Offering field service and training, the company has already received calls requesting information concerning hotels and restaurants in the area for those setting up training schedules.

The owners are experienced in the needs and requirements for rescue training having worked with the City of Orange Fire Department.

“We are able to put a rescue team in a facility that does not have a crew in place,” one of the two owners stated.

“It was our intent to create an atmosphere for a hotspot of industries,” the owner continued.

Triangle ERT Training Standbys offers Confined Space Rescue Standby, 24/7 Emergency Response, On-Site Medical, and Hurricane Preparedness.

Our staff is highly trained and experienced in the various types of confined spaces and limited egress that are often found in an industrial setting. Our staff is fully prepared to provide rescue standby coverage for a variety of industrial operations,” according to its official website.

It also offers training for Haz-Mat, Rescue, Fire, Medical, Incident Command System by providing exceptional instructional and hands-on training necessary to mitigate these emergency incidents.

The facility was possible when Orange Economic Development and the City of Orange approved an agreement with Triangle Rescue for the expenditure of funds for infrastructure improvements at 3875 Interstate 10 in Orange in August of 2018.

The facility will provide seven full-time positions and 30 part-time positions.
