We stayed busy last week. Let’s see what it was all about.

Couple weeks ago, we had a shooting and we couldn’t get statements We filed on him after a long investigation. We arrested the shooter and he had a firearm in his possession. Feds are filing Felon in Possession of Fire Arm. He’s now in our jail with a no bond. Great job to everyone involved.

We received a call about a missing Bon Wier man last Tuesday. He had been missing for 17 days. The family heard someone had done harm to him. We got him located Thursday. However, we now have business with him.

Storms came through Saturday and Sunday night. Countless trees and REA lines down. Creeks are up and 1500 houses without electricity. Have patience, REA is on the scene.

We got a call about a horse down. No feed and a clear case of Animal Cruelty. We had to put the horse down. It was so weak it couldn’t raise its head. Breaks your heart to see. Serious charges are going to be filed.

So many family disturbances calls this week. Some very serious some just time consuming. One was a wife who stole all the husband’s rod & reels. She also destroyed the carpet in his boat. She got his attention.
