The Orangefield Bobcats will face the Pollok Central Bulldogs in a best-of-three series in the Class 3A Region III quarterfinals this week.

Game One will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Pollok Central High School. Game Two will be at Orangefield High School Saturday at 3 p.m. with Game Three to follow if necessary.

The Bobcats defeated New Waverly 5-1 and 8-6 in the area round while the Bulldogs downed Van Vleck 5-2 and 6-0.

The winner of the Orangefield-Central series will face either Grandview or Troy in the regional semifinals.
