Vidor man indicted by Jefferson County Grand Jury

Randy White was one of 64 cases the Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted on Wednesday.

White, 28, of Vidor, is facing a State Felony for possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than one gram.

Officers pulled a car over for a traffic violation at approximately 4 a.m, on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018. The driver, White, and a passenger were showing signs of nervousness as officers spoke with them.

White consisted to a search of the vehicle and told the officers there would be ‘crystal’ in a box he passed to the backseat, according to an affiant for probable cause.

The substance was located in a wooden box with the name ‘Randy’ written on it.

White was arrested for possession.
