Our motivation and transformation

I was watching Pastor Farag this week.  He does a weekly prophecy update and he said prophecy is not for our information, but for our transformation.

It’s also for our motivation to purify ourselves to get right with God.

I believe that to be true.  None of us will totally figure out Revelations, but it will transform us by studying it.

I often wonder what someone would think if they took a snapshot of my computer browser history.  I do a lot of different searches to educate myself. I was researching Wicca, which is the witchcraft organization, or religion as they like to call it, and found that in 1990 there were only about 8000 Wicca’s.  In 2008, it shot up to 400,000, and in 2014 it was at 1.5 million people. 2017 was the last year I could find stats, and it was at 3 million. It is said that the Muslim and Wicca Religion is the fastest growing religions in Europe, Africa, and the U.S.

In sub-Saharan Africa, the proportion of Muslims who say witchcraft or sorcery is real ranges from more than nine-in-ten in Tanzania (92%) to about one-in-six in Ethiopia (15%).

Also, the Middle East and North Africa, where more than three-quarters of Muslims in Tunisia, (89%) and Morocco (78%), believe in witchcraft.

Hold that thought.

What does Daniel 11:43 say?   “But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.”

The town called Cush in the Bible is present-day Ethiopia, which is in Africa.  Tanzania, Tunisia, and Morocco are all in Africa. And where are the majority of all these Wicca believing people – Africa.  The UN subregion of North Africa consists of seven countries at the northernmost of the continent – Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

In Revelation 13:11, it talks about a lamb with two horns, which the two horns supposedly represent two passive religions.

Take heed in vs. 11, just because he is called a lamb that comes in peace, does not mean this is Jesus.

The book of Revelation identifies this lamb as the false prophet, who is under the antichrist that speaks like a dragon.

So, first of all, we see the two passive religions (as in the two horns) as being Muslim and Wicca.  The false prophet will merge these two religions and be in control as Daniel 11:43 states.

I can’t claim to be the most studious student in this area, but I do like transformation, so I study on.

So, we can watch these religions to see what happens in order to see if Jesus return is near.

Whether my study is correct or not, it does give us pause to think about.  To give us motivation, to know we must be ready when Jesus returns.  The things we find out, we can use as a tool to see Jesus’s return is getting closer.

God wants us to solve what He wrote.  Why else would He have written it? He wants us to research and study.

Scientists do this all the time.  They study, come up with theories, and throw them to the world, to see what will stick.

Never believe what someone else tells you.  Study the Word yourself. Pray about it and ask God for truth.  He will give you motivation and transformation!
