Bobcats rock Corrigan-Camden in Game One

JASPER — It was a complete dominating effort for the Orangefield Bobcats in their Game One best-of-three Class 3A Region III bidistrict series against the Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs Wednesday night at Jasper High School.
The Bobcats (17-9), District 22-3A runnerups, pounded the Bulldogs (15-7) 10-2 to roll to the victory.
The Bobcats amassed 12 hits in the big win.
Blake Bradley got the win on the hill as he tossed a three-hitter and collected five strikeouts over six innings. Kadeon Evans tossed the seventh in relief.
Evans also led the Bobcat hitting parade as he went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs.
Mason Gonzales had a huge night as well as he went 3-for-4 and prouduced three RBI.
Game Two of the series will be back in Jasper at 4 p.m. Friday with Game Three, if necessary, back at Jasper at 11 a.m. Saturday.
