Traffic Advisory: Multiple lane closures on Interstate 10 in Orange County scheduled

PRESS RELEASE — ORANGE COUNTY, TEXAS – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will conduct a crash reconstruction causing the closure of all westbound traffic lanes of Interstate 10, at mile marker 858, in Orange County. The crash reconstruction will begin at 6 p.m. on April 25.
The Texas Department of Transportation will assist DPS with all traffic control devices and equipment.
The closure is expected to last approximately 2-3 hours.
Detoured motorists will be directed to use the access/feeder road to travel around the crash reconstruction. Motorists will be allowed to use the last westbound entrance ramp to return to
the Interstate.
Motorist traveling in the area of the crash reconstruction should drive cautiously, observe all warning signs and follow directions from law enforcement officers and other traffic control devices in the area. Expect delays.
In the event of inclement weather, the crash reconstruction will be delayed.
