Bears rally to zap past Longhorns

HAMSHIRE — The LC-M Bears rallied back to take a 7-4 District 22-4A victory on the road against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns Tuesday night.

The Bears (21-8, 8-3) trailed the Longhorns (10-16, 4-7) 3-0 early but tallied seven of the game’s final eight runs to snag the victory.

Hunter Perkins nabbed the win on the hill for the Bears while Max Dileo nailed down another save.

Taylor Gilbert had two hits for the Bears and drove in a pair of runs.

The Bears will close out the regular season at home against Silsbee Friday night and will start the bidistrict playoffs next week.
