CrossFit EOR, at 501 W. Front Street in Downtown Orange, is now providing a fun fitness option. Offerings include small group classes, one-on-one personal training, nutritional coaching, and body composition analysis.

CrossFit EOR adheres to CrossFit methodology and is an affiliate of CrossFit, but not associated with any other gyms.

Lifelong Orange resident Larry Tyson, who is the owner and head trainer, has been studying CrossFit for five years. He trained at Iron Sports in Houston under Sam Sann.

Coach Tyson also competed in the National Ninja League (NNL) for two years. NNL is a nonprofit group that grew from the popular TV show “American Ninja Warrior” and promotes the sport of Ninja obstacle courses across America. Every year elite athletes from around the world compete for the NNL World Championship.

Tyson’s goal is to share locally what he has learned in CrossFit to “help (people) reach their fitness goals in a fun environment.”

“Classes begin as early as 5 a.m., Mondays through Fridays,” Tyson said.

More classes will be added later to accommodate members’ schedules. Anyone wanting to learn more about CrossFit can try a free class, offered once each week.

People can find more information and schedules, and/or sign up directly through social media: Facebook or Instagram, @CrossFit EOR; or on the website.

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for CrossFit EOR at 4 p.m., Thursday, April 25.
