UPDATE:All westbound traffic lanes of Interstate 10 have reopened following a multiple vehicle crash.

PRESS RELEASE — At approximately 3 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of a multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 10 in Jefferson County.  The crash occurred near Taylor’s Bayou.

Troopers and other emergency personnel are in route; therefore, details are extremely limited.

At this time, there are no confirmed reports of injuries.

Currently, all westbound traffic lanes of Interstate 10 are closed due to the crash.  Drivers should stay alert for emergency vehicles approaching the area.  Motorists are urged to find an alternate travel route.  Expect delays.
