PRESS RELEASE — Let’s see what’s been going on here in Newton county. Not too bad a week.
Received a call where a man said they need the Law at a party in Wiergate. He said that “there’s a guy here loaded down with weed”, and won’t share.
Received a call from a man who said while he was gone to the store, someone came in his house and stole a can of Tuna Fish out of his pantry. He stated he just wanted us to know.
Now we know.
We are having an ongoing problem with ex-husband and ex-wife over custody of a daughter. Some things we just can’t fix. They need to get their lawyer and judge back in it. We have had five calls about this problem.
We had so many calls this week about livestock being on the roads. Several calls about underfed livestock. Also, we had lots of dog calls. Mean dogs, starving dogs, and missing dogs. We do what we can with these kinda calls.
Storm came through Sunday afternoon. Lots of trees down and people lost electricity. Wind blew my flagpole in my pond. Main thing, nobody got hurt.
Gotta Go. Thought for the week. I’ve spent a great deal of my life realizing I should’ve shut up 10 minutes ago. Ya’ll have a good week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
