Students in Mrs. Valka’s and Mrs. Wolfford’s 3rd-grade reading classes presented and erupted volcanoes as a culminating activity following their fiction reading story, “Dog-of-the-Sea Waves”. Students researched and studied the Hawaiian Islands and many well-known volcanoes around the world.
