GOACoC names WOS student of the month

The Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce had the honor of presenting a certificate for Student of the Month for West Orange-Stark High School to Roshni Lauji. “Roshni is a delight to have in Art class. Her positive attitude and sense of humor are contagious. She is a dedicated student who has a strong work ethic. She is a positive role model for other students to look up to,” Stephanie Garza, Art Teacher, said.


“Roshni is a natural leader. She is very creative and is diligent in everything she works on. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her,” Jennifer Sims, CCMR Counselor said.
“Roshni is a hardworking, conscientious student. It is a pleasure to have her in class. I look forward to seeing what great things she will accomplish,” Jimmesha Proctor, Government/Economics Teacher said.


Roshni Lauji accomplishments include Principal’s Honor Roll: Fall 2015, Fall 2016, Spring 2017, Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Fall 2018; Varsity Choir: Solo and Ensemble State Finalist; Journalism Award; Ranked 15 out of 134 in the Senior Class


Roshni looks forward to graduating from Texas A&M Galveston and becoming a Marine Biologist.
