Lady Bears nip Jasper in bidistrict soccer battle

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears soccer team celebrated after a stout defensive night in the bidistrict round of the Class 4A Region III soccer playoffs as they knocked off the Jasper Lady Bulldogs 1-0 Friday night.
In the defensive stalemate, Lady Bear Avery Holland scored the lone Lady Bear goal as they now move on to the area round.
