BRIDGE CITY — The Bridge City Lady Cardinals hosted the East Chambers Lady Bucs for their Senior Night on Tuesday in district soccer action.

After the festivities the Cards went to work, and scored in the first 15 seconds of the half putting the score at 1-0. Brenda Munguia brought the ball up the field to assist Hannah Silveira for the score. Despite a tremendous effort, the Lady Cards just could not find the back of the net the rest of the game.

The offense was led by Brinley Bell, Brenda Munguia, and Texie LeBlanc. The Bucs were met by a host of seniors in the backfield.

Defensively, Bailey Turner, Peyton Trapp, and Hayley Lyons successfully helped goalie Kaitlyn Lawrence shut down the Lady Bucs’ offense. The Lady Cardinals ended the season on a high note with the 1-0 win, and finished the season 2-10.
