WINNIE – The Orangefield Bobcats crushed the East Chambers Buccaneers 19-0 in five innings at East Chambers High School Friday evening to run their District 22-3A mark to 2-0.

The Bobcats had 17 hits in the offensive onslaught while the Bucs just had five.

Landen Tomlinson pitched three innings for the Bobcats, striking out four while Johnny Armstrong and Gunner Jones also pitched.

Jones had a big day at the plate with four hits and three runs batted in. Logan Gipson collected three hits and drove in four runs. Armstrong had three hits while Kadeon Evans drove in a pair of runs.

The Bobcats will play host to the Warren Warriors Tuesday.
