LITTLE CYPRESS — The LC-M Bears collected two wins Saturday at the Gibbens Tournament to improve their record to 8-3 coming into district.

The Bears (8-3) defeated Buna 1-0 in a tight game behind strong combined pitching from Hunter Perkins and Max DiLeo for the shutout. At the plate: Ty Shugart 2-3, Jordan Alexander 1-2, 1BB ; Hunter Perkins 1-2.
In the second game of the day, Bears took the win over LaMarque 10-2 with almost every Bear in the high school program taking the field at some point.
