SWEENY — The LC-M Lady Bears notched a nice 2-1 win over Beeville at the Sweeny Tournament Friday morning.

Bailey Frenzel was the winning pitcher, going four innings, striking out eight and scattering two hits.

JoAnna Henry was 2-for-2 and scored a run. Morgan Weaver pinched ran for Brianna Frenzel, who walked. Weaver swiped second and third and Bailey Frenzel roped a double for the Lady Bears’ second run.
