Due to the weather being bad at the Liberty Tournament, the LC-M baseball team scrambled and had some games at home at Gibbens Field.

The Bears defeated the Cleveland Indians 3-1 and 9-2 on Thursday.

Hunter Perkins got the win in the 3-1 victory and Max Dileo got the win in the second contest.

At the plate over the two games, Jordan Alexander went 3-for-5 with a double and scored four runs. Perkins was 2-for-6 with two RBI and Ty Moreland was 1-for-3 with a double.

Weather permitting the Bears will be hosting Tarkington today (Friday) at 11 a.m. and Liberty at 1:15 p.m.

In softball action, the LC-M Lady Bears defeated Danbury 1-0 at the Sweeny Tournament . Brianna Frenzel had 10 strikeouts in the victory while Bailey Frenzel doubled and was able to score from third on a wild pitch.
