The Community Christian Lions went into the basketball playoffs this week as the No. 4 seed, playing the No. 1 seed Southwest Christian.

The CCS boys had a great game but had a heartbreaking  72-71 loss. The Lions came into the season with the goal of making he playoffs. They met that goal and are looking forward to an even stronger season next year.
The Lions athletic  program has been boosted by the energy,  enthusiasm, and experience that Jon Houchin brings to the program.  Coach Jon played D1 basketball in college and was himself mentored and coached by NBA veteran Penny Hardaway.
All- District medals were presented this week.
First Team Medals went toSenior Point Guard Chase Mott and Sophomore Power Forward James Menard
Second Team Medals went to Senior Guard Nate Willis and Sophomore Center Levi Rogers.
And Girls Second Team medals went out to Senior Point Guard Kalli Core and Junior Guard Julianna Sylestine.
