Kaboom!  recently presented a Rigamajig play system to Vidor Middle School’s fifth graders, currently housed on the VHS campus.  The Rigamajig is designed to provide free and creative play, to encourage students to value teamwork, and to foster engineering and construction skills.  The system comes with wooden pieces in varying shapes and sizes, ropes, screws, and bolts, and is housed on two carts for easy moving.  The unveiling of the playground occurred on Wednesday, February 13 in the gym at Vidor High School, with parents and grandparents on hand.  The crowd was addressed by VMS principal Mrs. Kerri Pierce and VISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jay Killgo.  Students, parents, and VISD staff then had some creative playtime with the new equipment.
