Let the good times roll as Mardi Gras 2019 kicks off in style with the Mardi Gras Motor Parade starts at 6 p.m. at the Riverfront Pavilion in downtown Orange.

After the parade a free concert at 7:30 p.m. featuring Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco Band.

Keith Frank, from Louisiana, formed the band in 1990 and released their first album in 1994. With 18 albums, he is sure to please the crowds.

Saturday will start with the Munchkin Parade at 3 p.m. in downtown Orange. Children of all ages will celebrate Mardi Gras with a parade of strollers, wagons and those walking a shorter version of the parade route.

Be sure to attend the Krewe of Krewe’s Parade to collect your doubloons and beads at 6 p.m. in downtown Orange.

Saturday evenings parade will showcase the Duke and Duchess of Prestige and Illusion, Duke and Duchess of Love, Duke and Duchess of Motown, Duke and Duchess of Good Times, the Duke and Duchess of oddities as well as the 2019 King and Queen of Mardi Gras.

Krewes in the parade include Krew C’est Bon, Krewe C’est La Vie, Krewe Fais Do Do,

Krewe de Bon Amis, Krewe du Marais, Krewe de Ville Pont, Krewe du Bayou, Krewe la Roulette, Krewe Joie de Vivre, Krewe de Oynx, Krewe des Amis de la Rue, Creole Krewe, Krewe L’Orange,

Kids activities, as well as food and drink vendors, will be at the Riverfront Pavilion in Orange.
