Bobcats to face Van Vleck at Barbers Hill Friday

ORANGEFIELD — The Orangefield Bobcats will take on the Van Vleck Leopards in the Class 3A Region III area round of the playoffs Friday at 8 p.m. at Barbers Hill High School.
The Bobcats (28-8) rallied from a 12-point deficit to down Diboll 58-51 in the bidistrict round Tuesday while the Leopards, District 24-4A champions, held off Trinity 75-72.
The Orangefield-Van Vleck winner will face either Coldspring or Buna in the regional quarterfinals next week.
