LAKE CHARLES — On February 9th, 2019 the Lake Charles Police Department responded to a local hotel in reference to a burglary and theft of a firearm complaint.

The Investigation revealed that an unknown subject entered the victim’s hotel room using a key card and stole the victim’s firearm.

During the course of the investigation the person responsible was identified as, Winston Edwards Jr. An arrest warrant was obtained for the charge of burglary and theft of a firearm and signed by Judge Clayton Davis whom issued a $20,000.00 bond.

The warrant was executed and Winston Edwards Jr. was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail.
