BRIDGE CITY – The West Orange-Stark Mustangs toppled the Bridge City Cardinals 73-56 in District 22-4A play at Cardinal Gym Tuesday night to wrap up the regular season.

The Mustangs (17-16, 6-6) will enter the playoffs as the fourth-place team out of 22-4A and will take on 21-4A champion Huffman in the bidistrict round of the Class 4A Region III playoffs next week.

Againt the Cardinals, Terron Brown filtered in 21 points to power the Mustang attack. Nakai Arnold and B’Jan Arvie scored 12 points apiece while Terry Harris had eight points and Darryl Bowens and Jalen Jefferson tallied six points each.

Brown yanked down 10 rebounds while Arvie hauled in eight and Arnold grabbed seven.

Harris chimed in with six steals while Arvie had five.
