Tigers get past Bears in 22-4A play

LITTLE CYPRESS – Two-time defending Class 4A champion Silsbee looks primed to make a run again in the postseason as they continue to remain undefeated in District 22-4A play by downing the LC-M Bears 83-52 at the Hargrove Bear Cave Friday night.
Jesse Doucette had a nice outing for the Bears (12-21, 3-8) as he zipped his way to 21 points. Ethan McCollum had 10 points for the Bears while D.J. Williams drew five charges on defense.
Braylon Bush led the Tigers (22-6, 11-0) with 29 points. Jordyn Adams chimed in with 20 while Landyn Tyler contributed 16.
The Bears will close out their season at home Tuesday when they play host to Hamshire-Fannett.
