Girls hoop playoffs all set

Bidistrict girls basketball playoffs are all set for Orangefield, Little Cypress-Mauriceville and Bridge City.

The District 22-3A champion Orangefield Lady Bobcats know their playoff destination, day and time.

The Lady Bobcats (28-6, 14-0) who finished off a perfect district campaign with a huge road win at Buna Tuesday night, will take on the Hemphill Lady Hornets Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Jasper High School in the Class 4A Region III bidistrict playoffs.

The Lady Hornets (16-10, 8-6) finished fourth out of District 21-3A.

The District 22-4A third-place team LC-M Lady Bears (22-10, 8-4) will take on the second-place team out of District 21-4A in the Tarkington Lady Longhorns (15-17) Monday at 8 p.m. at East Chambers High School in Winnie in the Class 4A Region III bidistrict round.

The Bridge City Lady Cardinals (22-13, 6-6), the fourth-place team out of District 22-4A, will take on 21-4A champion Livingston (29-9) Monday night at 8 p.m. at Kountze High School in the Class 4A Region III bidistrict playoffs.

The Deweyville Lady Pirates, runnerups out of District 24-2A, will take on Broaddus, the third-place team out of 23-2A, in the Class 2a Region III bidistrict round Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Warren High School.

District 22-4A champion Hardin-Jefferson will take on Splendora, the fourth-place team out of 21-4A, Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Porter High School.
