LUMBERTON – The Bridge City Lady Cardinals snagged the fourth-place playoff berth out of District 22-4A Tuesday night with a tight 62-59 road win at Lumberton.

The Lady Cardinals (22-13, 6-6) outscored the Lady Raiders 31-22 in the second half to seal the deal.

Madison Fischer led the Lady Cardinals with 13 points.

Hannah Wiegreffe filtered in 10 points while Reesie Ryder and Caitlin Denison added eight apiece.

The Lady Cardinals will face 21-4A champion Livingston in the bidistrict playoff round next week.
