The LC-M Lady Bears golf team placed second at the Hardin-Jefferson Tournament Monday at Idylwild Country Club.

Freshman Montana Dileo led the Lady Bears with a 88 followed by teammates Neely Wozniak (110), Jacie Benton (128) and Bethany Martinez (144).

The Lady Bears finished with a team score of 470. The host Lady Hawks won with a 420. Lady Hawk Makenna Henry was top medalist with a 86 while Dileo and Bridge City’s Cadence Underwood were second with 88s. Delia Fournet shot a 131 for Bridge City while Abigail Murchison had a 144.

Peyton Beebe led Orangefield with a 118 and teammate Jasleigh Montagne had a 129.
