Lady Bear freshman DiLeo wins Anahuac Tournament

- Courtesy Photo The LC-M Lady Bear golf team fought off the cold weather Wednesday to play well at the Anahuac Tournament.
ANAHUAC — Little Cypress-Mauriceville freshman Montana DiLeo captured her first career varsity win Wednesday by claiming the Anahuac Tournament with a sizzling 87.
The Lady Bears finished third as a team behind Hardin-Jefferson and Tarkington.
H-J won the tournament with a 406. Tarkington was second with a 450 and LC-M was third with a 453. PN-G was fourth with a 459 followed by West Brook (480), Silsbee (482), Nederland (483), Buna (522) and Vidor (544).
Neely Wozniak fired a 91 for the Lady Bears followed by teammates Jacie Benton (136) and Bethany Martinez (139).
Peyton Beebe had a 118 for Orangefield while Jasleigh Montagne had a 132 for the Lady Bobcats.
